Brand Story

Ever stared at a mountain of shoes in your closet, sighing as you fumble to find a pair? Or noticed that clunky storage bin peeking out from the living room corner, ruining the cozy vibe you worked so hard to create? Maybe you’ve hunted for that perfect decor piece to add holiday cheer—something that feels special, not just “functional”?
These little everyday frustrations? They’re exactly why pinkpum exists.
It started three years ago on a lazy weekend. Our founder was sorting through her seasonal clothes, when yet again, a jumble of scarves and a crushed shoe box threw her off track. Crouched there in front of her wardrobe, she had a lightbulb moment: We spend so much time picking out furniture and styling our spaces, but we overlook the “hidden” spots—the order of a shoe rack, the look of a storage bin, the color of a door wreath. Turns out, those tiny details hold the real, unfiltered feel of home.
“Why can’t the things we use every day be more than just tools?” she wondered. “Why can’t they be gentle, quiet partners in making life feel nicer?”
With that thought, she and her designer friend dived into a “detail revolution.” To make a shoe box that let heels stand tall and sneakers breathe easy, they visited 12 factories, tested 7 prototypes, and even hung out in shoe stores, watching how people grabbed their shoes. The result? A clear, easy-to-assemble design—you can see your favorite pairs at a glance, and even if you’re not the strongest, closing it is as simple as a light push.
When they tried making wreaths, they skipped the stiff, mass-produced ones. “Good decor should feel alive, like it’s breathing,” our founder said. So the team hit up markets, handpicking materials that lasted, and wrapped each one by hand. When that first wreath—dotted with daisies and eucalyptus—went up on their studio door, even the cleaning lady asked, “Can I buy that? It’d make me smile every time I walk in my house.”
From that first shoe box, when neighbors begged for the link, to today—with thousands of 5-star reviews on Amazon saying things like, “My entryway finally makes sense!” or “This wreath turned my rental into a home”—pinkpum learned something: We’re not just making storage or decor. We’re helping people slow down, breathe easier, and feel more at peace in the chaos of daily life.
Now, when you open a pinkpum shoe box, you’re not just seeing neat shoes—you’re seeing every pair you love, treated with care. When you hang our wreath, you’re not just adding greenery—you’re tucking little moments of joy into your routine. And when you run your hand over the smooth edge of our organizer? That’s us trying to make “tidying up” feel like a treat, not a chore.
Because we truly believe: The best parts of life aren’t in the big, flashy moments. They’re in the small stuff—when you pay attention. And pinkpum? We just want to be there, helping you turn everyday into something a little more like poetry.

Core Values

We want every bit of care we pour in to shine through in our daily life.

 1. Battling shoddiness with details: Crafting with a warm touch

We say no to the "that'll do" mentality of mass production. Just like when we tested 7 designs for our shoe boxes, pinkpum knows: Great products are born from fussing over the tiniest details.
We tweaked the magnetic door's closing angle 37 times—so even folks with a lighter touch can open it with ease. We kept the space between wreath leaves strictly between 2-3cm, enough to keep that natural vibe while avoiding dust buildup. We sanded the edges of our organizers to a 0.8cm curve, gentle enough to prevent bumps and a perfect fit in your hand. These little stubborn streaks? They're not overkill. They're our way of honoring the idea that "objects should serve people."

 2. Letting practicality and beauty go hand in hand: Not slaves to function, nor puppets to looks

We can't stand flashy stuff that skimps on use, and we loathe clunky tools that ignore charm. At pinkpum, good home items should be like a great roommate: They tackle your problems and quietly make life more enjoyable, no showboating needed.
Take our "entryway hero" shoe box: Clear enough to spot your shoes in a second (practical), and when stacked, the tight, seamless lines look almost like art (beautiful). Our handcrafted wreaths? Sturdy enough to stick around (durable), and the moment you open your door, they hit you with that "hug from nature" feeling (lovely). Nailing that balance between "useful" and "delightful"? It's a lesson we're always learning.

3. Turning your little annoyances into our big projects

That time the cleaning lady asked, "Can I buy one?" showed us: Real needs are in the offhand comments. At pinkpum, "thinking of users" isn't just a phrase—it: "it's rolling up our sleeves to take on your troubles.
Heard "My tall shoes don't fit in the box"? We whipped up a taller, adjustable version. Noticed people using our organizers as nightstands? We snuck in a moisture-resistant coating. Saw a comment: "Wish I could change up my wreath's style"? We created modular, swap-out flowers. We're like detectives, tracking down those small gripes—because fixing one little hassle? That's how we add a little more ease to your day.

4. Believing in the power of "taking it slow": No chasing fads, just growing steady

In a world drowning in fast, disposable goods, pinkpum chooses to be a "slow brand." We don't rush to expand our product line—each new item gets 6 months of user testing. We don't chase the latest trends.
Growing a brand is like tending a tree: You don't force the rings to form—you wait, care for it, and let them grow naturally. We believe our worth isn't built on one-hit wonders. It's built on users who feel truly seen, products that stand the test of time, and growing—slowly, surely—because of that. That patience? It's what keeps us grounded amid all the noise.
